Yes!! The trailer to our new documentary is here and we are so excited.
For the past couple of months – fifteen months to be exact, we’ve been working hard on creating our latest documentary – Mr. Gele: The Man.The Story. The Craft. The journey started on July 29th, 2016 when we set out to Houston, Texas to film Mr. Segun Gele’s every move. There was never a dull moment and we enjoyed every minute of it.
We were scheduled to film him during a Nigerian wedding on August 5th – 6th but alas due to unforeseen circumstances the wedding had to be cancelled. But we had another opportunity to film him in Detroit, Michigan during the annual Headwrap expo where he conducted several Gele tying demos and participated in a panel discussion.
Post production wrapped in September 2016 and we are in the process of submitting the film (a short) into several film festivals across the US, UK and Nigeria.
