KokoAtDawn Productions had the pleasure of interviewing Nigerian Actor, and voice over artist, Deyemi Okanlawon during his visit to Atlanta, Georgia. Deyemi has been featured in several Nigerian film projects such as A Journey to Self, Road To Yesterday, A Place Called Happy, Oblivious, All of Me and EbonyLife TV film, The Royal Hibiscus Hotel, just to name a few. He is most popular for his role as Tobi in the Nigerian webisode drama, Gidi Up.
In this episode of “Who Is”, we go inside his story and explore his journey as an actor, his humble beginnings and how he balances being a husband, dad and an actor in high demand in the Nollywood industry.
KokoAtDawn had the privilege to be the “fly on the wall” on Saturday, April 14th, 2012 for SnapFlix’s red carpet event – Two Brides & a Baby movie premiere. KokoAtDawn captured the highlights of the day and also was able to capture a few moments right before the big event to get an inside look on what Snapflix is all about.
KokoAtDawn was on the scene at the SnapFlix “Nollywood Cinema Series” launch event in Atlanta, GA at the beautiful Woodruff Arts Center capturing every moment for it’s very first documentary. The documentary goes behind the scenes to capture key moments that lead to this grand event. The movie “Two Brides and a Baby”, which was being screened for the first time in the US, was written and produced by Blessing Effiom Egbe. The British-Nollywood actor, Kalu Ikeagwu was in attendance as well. It was a great night and everyone looked fabulous. Congratulations to the SnapFlix team for a successful event.
